These are a couple of hiking trails we warmly suggest:
Crossing Karwendel valley towards Birzelkapelle
You start your tour at the info point in Scharnitz and hike up 181 m on a trail of 3.7 km. This tour is perfect for beginners and lasts approximately 2 hours.
Winter hiking to Obern-Rauthhütte
The trail is 2.5 km long and a little more challenging, you will have to scale 400 m upwards. Still the tour starting at the parking area of Rauthütte in Moos should not take you more than 1.5 hours.
Snow shoe hike Hohe Fluder
This tour is challenging, as you have to conquer 8.3 km, going up 600 m. It usually takes you roughly four hours from Kreithkapelle, crossing Hohe Fluder to Hoher Sattel until you arrive in Leutasch/Arhn. If you prefer to rest along the way it might take you a little longer.
